Inspired by the dramatic coastline of Porto Moniz, Madeira, ‘Amphitrite’ is named after the Greek queen of the sea, whose calm strength stands in quiet contrast to the ocean's untamed power. Echoing Amphitrite, a lone diver launches backwards from the cliff's edge, in a moment of complete trust and poise. It reminds us that courage is not the absence of fear, but the willingness to move through it. Sometimes, the greatest sense of freedom is found when we trust ourselves enough to dive into the unknown.
