2026 • Acrylic on Canvas • 40 x 40 cm

Fall Line
2026 • Acrylic on Canvas • 60 x 40 cm
‘Fall Line’ captures a lone snowboarder carving down a mountain at dawn, suspended in that quiet moment when movement and instinct become one. The terrain is built from strokes of soft pastels, suggesting snowy mountains illuminated by the first light of morning. The rider appears small against the sweeping rhythm of the landscape, following the natural fall line of the mountain - the path gravity pulls you toward. In snow sports, riding the fall line represents commitment to motion and flow, and that idea sits at the heart of this piece.
Drive!
2026 • Acrylic on Canvas • 50 x 40 cm
‘Drive!’ captures the the internal momentum that propels us towards our potential - a state in which movement feels instinctive and attention narrows to what lies ahead. Running was the artists' flow state throughout much of her childhood. Many evenings were spent at the track, rain or shine, with her coach always standing at the 200m mark - providing motivation, belief and a lasting love for the sport. The painting therefore holds a deep personal resonance for the artist, its title echoing the word her late coach would call out from across the track.
